Bringing The Game to Everyone: First Tee and the Power of Youth Sports

We are so excited to announce that this month, we will be donating  to First Tee, a youth development organization who teaches life skills to kids and teens through the game of golf. 

For many young children, golf is not just an intimidating and stressful experience—it’s also largely inaccessible. With an active presence in thousands of elementary schools and after-school programs, First Tee reaches over 3 million kids annually, bringing the fun nature of the game to children who have not yet had the opportunity to get out onto the course. In the process, First Tee transforms the course into a classroom, promoting self-confidence, leadership, and collaboration— all through the power of youth sports.

Here at Lilihammer, we're committed to making the golf course a home for women — a place where they feel confident, welcome, and empowered. Through this partnership, we're so excited to reach them at an even earlier point in life. We’re endlessly inspired by the work First Tee is doing, and can’t wait to watch as they continue to make their magic happen, on and off the course.
