ABOUT ME
I grew up around golf — every trip, every weekend, every family memory somehow tied back to it. My family played constantly but I never felt confident or happy on the course. I gravitated toward sports that felt more dynamic, more empowering — and frankly, more feminine: soccer and lacrosse. I stuck with them all the way through college.
After graduating and settling into a corporate job, golf came back into my life in the most unexpected way. At a work event at Topgolf, I casually picked up a club — and surprised myself. My boss noticed and said they needed an extra for a round the next day. I called my dad in sheer panic, then said yes. That round changed everything.
I realized most people are actually bad at golf — like, really bad. But men still show up without hesitation and have a great time. For women, though, it feels different. There’s hesitation. There’s self-consciousness. And more often than not, there’s a feeling of not belonging. That stuck with me.
One day, while standing on the tee box in an entirely Aritzia outfit, I had a thought: confidence on the course starts with what you’re wearing. Clothes that make you feel like yourself — powerful, feminine, and comfortable. Clothes that actually look good and move with you.
That’s when Lilihammer was born.
I wanted to build a brand that brings confidence back to the course. One that highlights the female form in a space where it’s long been hidden. Lilihammer is strong, feminine, and as versatile as your dad’s favorite polo — only better.
